Heritage Square Museum
Join artist Aitor Lajarin for an painting and drawing workshop in connection to his exhibition, Crickets, part of Heritage Square Museum’s new contemporary art program Inhabit Heritage Square.
We will be learning about the lives of people who used to inhabit the Victorian houses and think about how we live in our houses. Aitor Lajarin will help us exploring painting and drawing as simple tools to visualize the future.
This is a family friendly event and adults will be encouraged to participate in the creation of the artworks.
Children 5-9 – $2
Children 10-17- $3
Adults – $5
Free for Heritage Square members
Materials will be provided
The program begins at 11:30am. We will look at a few houses starting at noon and the rest of the workshop will be held outside. Please wear appropriate clothing. Shade and water will be provided. At the end of the workshop, art pieces will be put on display in the museum’s gallery until closing where . Then they can be brought home.
